We have news of an exciting new development! We are taking Creative Options on the road to promote what we do and give tasters of what we offer.
The first venue is St. James Matthews Building at the "stronger together" community art installation. We will be there on Friday 13th April, from 2-4 PM running an art group. Using coloured pencils, pens, felt tips, pastels etc., we will be exploring the above theme in an attempt to find a more positive experience of this well known saying.
All welcome. Free of charge.
For personal reasons, the 'Not Staying In' group is suspended until further notice.
We are open the Wednesday after Easter as per usual. We do not have any events going on over Easter, however, as most of our members will be making their own arrangements.
The first horse-riding session will be on the 18th April. Sessions will be monthly.
Please telephone Julie for information on 07738 681906.
If there is more interest, we may book a second session quite soon.
A 'Trialogue' is a neutral space where people can gather to develop their understanding of mental health issues, including the challenges of maintaining good mental health, and to transform thinking on developing better services and healthy communities.
We have just received a grant from Sport England! We are very grateful for the £4,844, which will go towards delivering a sports programme throughout the next year.
The sports programme will have a dedicated sports support worker, who will head up physical activities with the group. These include:
'Knit and Relax' is no longer going to be on a Thursday. We are bringing it back to be part of the Wednesday group.
The next meeting will be on the 21st March when we will be knitting Easter projects at the Wednesday Drop-In.
The new programme for 'Knit and Relax' will be released soon, when the next programme is complete for after Easter.
